Collection of Beethoven sketches and autographs owned by Heinrich Beer (1794-1842), then acquired by Felix (1809-1847), Paul (1812-1874) and Ernst von Mendelssohn (1846-1909). The Berlin Library acquired most of the collection in 1908; some of the manuscripts are now in Krakow. Also includes other Beethoven materials once owned by Felix Mendelssohn.
