Collection of Max Friedlaender, Berlin, which contained the autograph of Wo0 133 (now at Stanford), a receipt from Sept. 1, 1814 to the Archduke Rudolph (now at the Beethoven-Haus), sketches for the Ninth Symphony and Opus 127, first and early editions, and books (some materials exhibited in Vienna, Beethoven-Ausstellung, 1921 [no. 203]), and the autograph of Opus 70, no. 1 (now at the Pierpont Morgan Library).
