According to Smolle, Beethoven lived at the "Grosses Haus der Augustiner," also known as "Zum schwarzen Adler," Vorstadt Landstrasse 244, in 1820-1822; according to Cooper, in the winter of 1820-1821 Beethoven lived either at the second floor of this house or at 391 Ungarngasse, and at this house in 1821-July/August 1822. Current location: Wien 3, Landstrasse-Hauptstrasse 60.
