Illustrations in Iconographies are indexed in the following categories: i. Beethoven portraits and portraits of other people (e.g.: Iconography--Beethoven portraits (Schimon). Beethoven portraits are listed in the FF section of the Thesaurus under "Portraits"; Iconography--Portraits--Wegeler, Franz Gerhard). Other option include: Beethoven hands (Danhauser)--1827; Death mask; Life mask (may subdivide by artist if other than Klein's mask); Skull; ii.
