Bust of Beethoven by Emile Antoine Bourdelle (1861-1929) titled "Beethoven Metropolitain." A bronze copy of this bust is exhibited in the Beethovenhalle in Bonn and is inscribed "Moi je suis Bacchus qui pressure pour le hommes le nectar delicieux." Other copies are located at the opera house in Cologne, the Philharmonic Halls in Boston and New York, and in the Antoine Bourdelle Museum in Paris (Alai, Beethoven glorified in statues, p. 47)
